Police contacted a "person of interest" who used LinkedIn and had been in touch with Missy. The communication began in January 2016 and continued until she died. The messages began in a casual manner but"ultimately turned flirtatious and familiar." Police had to establish who the person was on the footage. The person in the footage appeared to also have a pry bar and at one point, they were holding a white rectangular box.



He killed his 2 beautiful daughters, his beautiful wife Shan'ann who was pregnant with their first son, Nico. They still cannot say with certainty if they are looking for a woman or a man. Nobody has come forward to the police to state that they were the driver of the car on the footage to date. Police obtained cell information from Missy's phone and cell information from several members of the Bevers family. Several of the phone messages confirmed that there was financial trouble, struggles within the marriage and extramarital affairs. Police looked into Missy's personal life and discovered that while the Bever family appeared to be a happy family, they were far from it.

While seekers crime investigators continue to receive tips about the slaying, they have yet to establish a motive and admit they still don’t know if Bevers’ killer was male or female. It’s possible the killer’s vehicle was captured on footage circling the nearby SWFA Outdoors store, but police aren’t sure. To date, police have not arrested or charged anyone in relation to Missy's murder.

"My family and myself are good, decent and very honest people." A $10,000 reward for information that leads to the suspect's arrest and indictment is being offered by Oak Farms Dairy. Police obtained a warrant to gain access to all of Missy's communication on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a social networking service for professionals.

These places aren’t close to each other, and Creekside sits well back from the road. It doesn’t seem the most likely target for a lone, random vandal or thief. While there have been impressive instances of crowd-sourced investigation, there have been plenty of failures as well.
